Terms of Service

Last updated: April 5, 2026

1. What Thriftly does

Thriftly is a discovery tool that helps you find secondhand clothing that matches outfit photos you upload. We search third-party resale marketplaces and present results ranked by visual similarity, brand, and price. We do not sell clothing directly.

2. Your account

You can sign in with Google to save outfits and set up alerts. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You may delete your account and data at any time from your account settings.

3. Content you upload

When you upload outfit photos, we process them to identify clothing items and find matches. Your photos are stored securely and are not shared with other users or third parties. You retain ownership of all content you upload.

4. Third-party listings

Search results link to items on external marketplaces. We do not control the availability, accuracy, or pricing of those listings. Purchases happen directly between you and the marketplace seller. Thriftly is not a party to those transactions.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Thriftly to upload illegal, harmful, or infringing content. Do not attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload our systems. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

6. Availability

Thriftly is provided as-is. We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change as the product evolves.

7. Privacy

We collect the minimum data needed to operate: your email (for authentication), uploaded photos (for matching), and basic usage analytics. We do not sell your data. Photos are processed server-side and are not used to train models.

8. Changes

We may update these terms as the product develops. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
